Nagpur, July 11 -- : union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Saturday called for enhanced cooperation among BRICS countries to develop sustainable, resilient and inclusive transport networks, saying the grouping has the potential to redefine the future of global mobility through innovation, collaboration and collective efforts.
Addressing the third BRICS Transport Ministers' Meeting held under India's BRICS Chairship, Gadkari said member nations are confronted with several shared challenges, including infrastructure funding, rising traffic congestion, carbon emissions, road safety concerns and improving last-mile connectivity.
