Dimapur, Aug. 2 -- Students, faculty members, staff and officials of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland on Sunday reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Government of India's 100-week Nasha Mukt Yuva for Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan and promoting a healthier, addiction-free society through sustained awareness and youth-led initiatives.

Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav attended the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan at the institute at Chumoukedima.

The programme forms part of the Government of India's 100-week nationwide campaign against substance abuse, aimed at mobilising youth, educational institutions and communities to build a drug-free and developed India.
