New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will undertake an official visit to Canada and the United States from August 25 to September 2, with discussions expected to focus on strengthening economic and financial ties, boosting investment and advancing cooperation on global economic issues.
Sitharaman will begin her visit in Toronto, where she will participate in the inaugural Economic and Financial Dialogue with Canada's Finance and National Revenue Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne.
The talks will cover macroeconomic developments, financial sector cooperation, bilateral investment opportunities and shared international priorities, according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance.
