Lucknow, June 7 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has begun preparations for the next phase of foundational education reforms.

After strengthening Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) for students from Classes 1 to 3 through the NIPUN Bharat Mission, the government is now moving swiftly to extend its reach up to Class 5. New learning goals and competencies are being developed for Hindi, English, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies (EVS).

As per the proposed action plan, these competencies and learning targets will be finalised by June 20 and submitted for approval.
