Hyderabad, Aug. 3 -- The National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM) and the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Government of Telangana, have collaborated to establish 326 Bio-Input Resource Centres (BRCs) across the state to promote natural farming under the National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF).
As part of the initiative, NIPHM has trained 56 district-level officials and 318 women entrepreneurs in 10 batches at its Rajendranagar campus. SERP identified and mobilised women participants from various districts and provided them with the equipment and support needed to establish village-level BRCs.
