Mumbai, Aug. 6 -- The Ahmedabad bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has officially approved the scheme of amalgamation (merger) of nine wholly-owned subsidiary companies with their parent company, called Adani Power, the company informed the stock exchanges here in a regulatory filing.
According to the filing by Adani Power, the scheme of amalgamation covers the merger of nine subsidiary companies namely Adani Power Dahej Limited, Kutch Power Generation Limited, Resurgent Fuel Management Limited, Mahan Fuel Management Limited, Orissa Thermal Energy Limited, Korba Power Limited, Anuppur Thermal Energy (MP) Private Limited, Mirzapur Thermal Energy (UP) Private Limited as well as Emberiza Infra Park Limited with Adani Power.
