Varanasi, March 25 -- Nine persons were arrested from Gate Number 2 of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Wednesday for allegedly extorting money from devotees under the guise of arranging ''Sugam Darshan.''According to the Uttar Pradesh police, a team of officers - deployed in plain clothes and supported by CCTV surveillance - had been maintaining constant vigil over the area. During this surveillance, these individuals were observed misbehaving with devotees and demanding money from them.
