Samastipur, March 24 -- Additional District and Sessions Judge Shashikant Rai today convicted nine persons in connection with the murder of Mohanpur Out Post in-charge Nand Kishore Yadav.
After hearing the case, the court found nine accused, Meghu Prasad, Amit Prasad, Pintu Yadav, Ravi Kumar, Anuj Prasad, Rahish Kumar, Dhananjay Yadav, Vikas Kumar, and Vipin Kumar guilty of the murder.
The quantum of punishment would be pronounced on March 26 after hearing arguments on sentencing.
The officer was shot dead near Shahwajpur Hanuman Temple under Ujiarpur police station limits during a raid in 2023.
