Patna, May 29 -- Danapur Sub-Divisional Magistrate Aniruddh Pandey has imposed restrictions on the operation of motorboats and boats in the Ganga River and other rivers flowing through the subdivision in view of changing weather conditions and the possibility of danger to life and property.
According to the prohibitory order issued by Pandey, the operation of all motorboats and boats used for river cruises or transportation in the rivers under the Danapur subdivision will remain completely prohibited from sunset to sunrise under all circumstances.
The order clarified that the restriction would not apply to boats or motorboats being used by the subdivision administration for law-and-order duties.
