Aizawl, May 27 -- A brutal late-night assault near The Grand Hotel in the Chanmari area has triggered widespread outrage across Aizawl, with citizens and civil society groups demanding urgent measures to tackle the growing trend of street violence in the state capital.
The incident took place at around 2 am on Tuesday when five men attacked and lynched another man in what appeared to be a gang-related street fight.
