Nashik, Aug. 21 -- In a major development in the alleged religious conversion and harassment case involving the TCS Nashik office, a court on August 20 granted bail to accused Nida Khan.
Justice Kharkar's court granted Khan bail on a Rs 50,000 surety bond in Case No. 166/2026, registered at Mumbai Naka Police Station. The court also directed her to appear regularly before the concerned police station.
Khan has been named as Accused No. 5 in the case. According to the allegations, a 36-year-old person was allegedly forced to offer namaz at the TCS Nashik office, asked to follow Islamic religious practices, subjected to objectionable comments about Hinduism, and allegedly pressured to convert to Islam.
