Mumbai, June 11 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has moved an application befire a special court seeking the cancellation of bail granted to Vernon Gonsalves and Arun Ferreira in the Pune Elgar Parishad-Maoist links case, alleging that they violated bail conditions by attending a meeting with co-accused persons who are also out on bail.
The agency, in separate applications, alleged that Gonsalves and Ferreira participated in a gathering held on January 19 at the terrace of the Mumbai Press Club. The meeting was allegedly attended by co-accused Anand Teltumbde, Rona Wilson, Sudhir Dhawale, Hany Babu and Gautam Navlakha, all of whom are currently on bail.
