Siliguri, Aug. 29 -- NHPC has achieved its highest-ever capacity addition of 1,850 MW ina single financial year, with the commissioning of three major projects during 2025-26, thecompany said.
The achievement was highlighted at NHPC's 50th Annual General Meeting, held through video conferencing from its registered office in Faridabad on Friday.
The company commissioned the 750-MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project, 800-MW Parbati-II Hydroelectric Project and 300-MW Karnisar Solar Project during the financial year, reflecting its project execution capabilities, NHPC said.
