Bhubaneswar, May 28 -- The National Green Tribunal has ordered a joint inquiry into allegations of forest land encroachment, illegal construction and serious environmental violations by Wonderla Holidays Limited in Odisha's Khordha district in its water amusement park project.
Taking cognisance of a petition, the Eastern Zone Bench, comprising Judicial Member Justice Sheo Kumar Singh and Expert Member Ishwar Singh, observed that the matter involved a "substantial issue relating to the environment" and issued notices to both the State and Central governments.
