Hyderabad, April 28 -- union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh on Tuesday assured that the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) will continue to function from Rajendra Nagar, dismissing reports of its relocation.
He said there are no plans to shift the NFDB from Hyderabad.
The assurance came during a high-level meeting with Telangana Minister Vakiti Srihari and senior officials at the NFDB office in Rajendra Nagar.
Srihari welcomed the clarification, stating that it would allay concerns among stakeholders.
During the meeting, Srihari briefed the union minister on various schemes being implemented by the State under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in the animal husbandry, dairy, and fisheries sectors.
