The 34-year-old missed Santos' 2-1 weekend loss at Atletico Mineiro but returned to training on Tuesday as he vies to be fit for Sunday's clash at Rio de Janeiro's Maracana Stadium.
Neymar has made just 25 appearances across all competitions for Santos this year amid ongoing knee and leg muscle problems, according to Xinhua.
