Dubai, June 9 -- New Zealand captain Melie Kerr will enter the ICC Women's T20 WorldCup as the No.1 ranked T20I all-rounder following the latest update to the ICC Women's Player Rankings.
Kerr returns to the premier position just days prior to the start of the T20 World Cup, with West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews dropping back to the No.2 slot after she sat out her side's final fixture of the recent tri-series in Ireland.
It remains tight at the top of the all-rounder charts, with Kerr's lead sitting at just five rating points as the two influential skippers jostle for positions at the upcoming T20 World Cup in England and Wales that commences on June 12.
