Dimapur, April 4 -- The Dimapur commissionerate of police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory prohibiting entry for heavy vehicles along the stretch of National Highway 29 from Dimapur airport junction (3rd Mile) to 4th Mile (Central Jail junction) and along the road stretch from 4th Mile (Central Jail junction) till four-lane intersection over bridge at Showuba village from 6 am to 6 pm on April 6.
The advisory has been issued in view of the likely transit of a VVIP to Assam via Dimapur airport on the day.
It also said no parking will be permitted along the stretch of National Highway 29 from the airport junction (3rd Mile) to 4th Mile (Central Jail junction).
