Pune, May 1 -- Maharashtra's new map was unveiled on the occasion of Maharashtra Day today, with the inclusion of the updated district names of Ahilyanagar, Sambhajinagar, and Dharashiv.
The unveiling ceremony was held at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Garden in Erandwane Pune.
The event was attended by senior geographer and map creator Dr. Suresh Garsole, Warje-Karvenagar Ward Committee Chairperson Manjushri Khardekar, Creative Foundation President Sandeep Khardekar, former corporator Deepak Pote, Mukta Garsole Kulkarni, Advocate Amrut Garsole, and other dignitaries.
