Hyderabad, Sept. 15 -- BJP Telangana president N Ramchander Rao on Tuesday stressed the need to educate the younger generation, particularly Gen Z and Gen Alpha, about the history and sacrifices associated with the Telangana movement and Hyderabad's liberation.
Speaking at the release of the book "September 17 - Telangana Vimochana Dinamu", authored by Osmania University professor G Laxman, at the BJP State Office here, Rao said intellectuals, professors, students and academics played a significant role in the separate Telangana movement without worrying about their careers.
He described Prof Laxman as a well-read scholar and noted his contribution to the Telangana agitation and his works on the region's history and movement.
