Ayodhya, July 11 -- Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra on Saturday termed the alleged theft of offerings at the Ram Temple a "stigma," saying that after a prolonged struggle and movement, Lord Ram's idol, Ram Lalla, has finally been installed in the grand temple.
"This is a kind of stain. We are not only saddened by this incident but also feel humiliated. I am fully confident that the system will be strengthened and such incidents will not happen again," Mishra said while speaking to reporters in Ayodhya.
He said necessary improvements would be introduced in the temple's security and management systems to prevent any such recurrence in the future.
