New Delhi, June 28 -- India's new-age consumer brands are emerging as a powerful growth engine in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, expanding at more than three times the pace of the markets they operate in, according to a report by Bain & Company and DSG Consumer Partners.
The report estimates that the ecosystem of these "insurgent" brands generated revenue of around Rs. 71,033 crore (USD $ 7.5 billion) in FY25, a sharp increase from approximately Rs. 18,942 crore (US$ 2 billion) recorded five years ago. The rapid growth has been fuelled by the expansion of digital commerce, the rise of quick commerce platforms and continuous product innovation across multiple consumer segments.
