Tel Aviv/Washington, July 5 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to meet with US President Donald Trump in Washington on July 13 to discuss Iran, regional security and relations with Saudi Arabia, CNN reported on Sunday, citing an Israeli source.

Netanyahu's office said the two leaders agreed during a recent phone call to meet in the United States in the near future, Israeli media reported.

According to CNN, citing an Israeli source, the meeting is expected to cover Iran, a new U.S.-Israel security agreement and prospects for expanding regional diplomatic ties. The current 10-year U.S.-Israel Memorandum of Understanding on security assistance is due to expire in 2028.
