Badaun, April 21 -- In a significant development in the Badaun double murder case, the Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to take action against several officials accused of negligence.
The case involves the killing of two senior officers of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited - Sudhir Kumar Gupta (DGM) and Harshit Mishra (AGM).
According to official sources, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has submitted its preliminary report. The SIT was headed by the Divisional Commissioner of Bareilly.
