Lucknow, June 21 -- The NEET-UG 2026 re-examination on Sunday passed off peacefully in Uttar Pradesh, with nearly 3.5 lakh candidates appearing at exam centers across 59 districts.
The exam ran from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
This time, candidates were given an additional 15 minutes.
Candidates said the paper was more difficult than last time.
Entry to the exam centres was allowed from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Officials said that strict security arrangements were in place and the papers were transported to the centers in GPS-equipped vehicles.
The exam centres were monitored by CCTV cameras.
Before entering the centre, candidates' admit cards, photo identification cards, photographs, and signatures were matched.
