Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Postgraduate) (NEET-PG) examination began across Telangana on Sunday.
A total of 17,627 candidates are appearing for the examination at 56 centres across the State. The State government has made all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination at these centres.
The examination is being conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from 0900 hours to 1230 hours. Candidates were allowed to enter the examination centres from 0700 hours.
Aadhaar-based identification has been made mandatory for the examination. Iris-based biometric verification has also been offered as an alternative when fingerprints do not match.
