New Delhi, July 24 -- The Central government on Friday assured the Supreme Court that it is taking comprehensive measures to safeguard students and uphold the integrity of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
The assurance was given before a Bench comprising Justices PS Narasimha and Alok Aradhe during the hearing of a batch of petitions concerning this year's alleged NEET question paper leak.
During the proceedings, the Court emphasized its commitment to ensuring that robust, long-term safeguards are implemented to prevent such incidents in the future.
"We will monitor this. We will take that extra mile to ensure that things are put in place," the Bench said.
