Nagpur, June 20 -- : A day before the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, a student from Nagpur was allegedly allotted an examination centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE, instead of Maharashtra, triggering fresh concerns over the National Testing Agency's (NTA) examination management.

The student, Abdullah Mohammad Talib, had opted for Nagpur, Wardha and Bhandara as his preferred examination centres while submitting his application. However, when his admit card was released, he found that he had been assigned a test centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE, thousands of kilometres away.

The unexpected allotment left the student and his family stunned, particularly with the examination scheduled for June 21.
