Nagpur, June 4 -- The family of a 20-year-old NEET aspirant who died by suicide in Nagpur around two weeks ago has alleged that the recent NEET paper leak controversy and the subsequent decision to conduct a re-examination, drove her to take the extreme step.

The allegation is based on a suicide note, which the family claimed was found inside one of her books after they returned to their native village in Madhya Pradesh's Mauganj district following her last rites.

The student had been residing in Nagpur with her family, where her father works as a cook.
