Shillong, June 4 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Thursday urged union Home Minister Amit Shah for setting up of "proper mechanisms" to check illegal immigration into the hill state, and renewed the demand for implementation of the Inner Line Permit (ILP) regime.
