Bengaluru, July 15 -- Karnataka's electoral roll revision exercise has entered a crucial phase with nearly 14 lakh voter entries marked under the ASDO (Absent, Shifted, Dead and Others) category requiring verification, even as enumeration forms have reached 95.58 per cent of the state's electorate, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) V Anbukkumar said on Wednesday.
Giving an update on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, the CEO said enumeration forms had been distributed to 5.29 crore voters out of the state's 5.54 crore electors, while data from over 2.20 crore forms (39.83 per cent) had already been digitised.
