Agartala, Oct. 8 -- The alliance forged at the highest level between BJP and the tribal-focused TIPRA Motha party has led to significant backlash and unrest at the grassroots level following the announcement of the results for the Village Committee election of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) three days ago.
According to the report, numerous incidents of violence and vandalism have been perpetrated on BJP workers, with several assaults being carried out against them and party offices repeatedly damaged by cadres affiliated with TIPRA Motha.
