New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- The National Capital Region (NCR), including Delhi, Gurugram and Gautam Buddha Nagar, has recorded strong growth in life insurance business over the five years through FY2024-25, with rising premiums, policy purchases and demand for higher-value protection.

An analysis by the Insurance Information Bureau of India (IIB) of life insurance business across FY2020-21 to FY2024-25 shows that Gurugram recorded the fastest growth in annualised premium (AP) among the three markets. Its AP increased 1.81 times during the period, while Gautam Buddha Nagar recorded a 1.68-fold rise.
