New Delhi, Sept. 4 -- The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has rescued more than 3,800 children as part of its nationwide "Pan-India Rescue and Rehabilitation" campaign aimed at protecting children from child labour, trafficking and exploitation.
The campaign, launched on June 12 and continued until August 31, brought together State Governments and union Territory administrations, District Magistrates, Labour Departments, police authorities and other stakeholders to intensify efforts to identify and rescue children working in vulnerable conditions.
