Mumbai, July 26 -- A major political slugfest has erupted in Maharashtra following the resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on July 25 in the wake of intense nationwide protests, led by the Cockroach Janta Party, over the NEET exam paper leak controversy.
While Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis came out strongly in support of the outgoing minister, praising his contributions and stating that the entire BJP family stands firmly behind him, NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar faction) MLA Rohit Pawar launched a scathing attack on Fadnavis, accusing him of extreme political blindness and insensitivity toward protesting youth.
