Panchkula, June 25 -- The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has issued a nationwide advisory cautioning students, parents, teachers and schools against the circulation of pirated and fake NCERT textbooks in both print and digital formats, warning that such material is illegal and may contain inaccurate or fabricated content.
In a press release issued NCERT said it has come to its notice that unauthorised copies of certain textbooks are being circulated, in some cases even before their official publication. The Council has specifically flagged a fake and unofficial version of the Class IX Social Science Part 1 textbook, "Understanding Society India & Beyond," which is reportedly being shared through social media ...
