Jammu, Aug. 14 -- In a well-coordinated narcotics operation, the joint team of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Jammu and Kashmir Police and BSF arrested one narcotics smuggler and seized 603 grams of suspected heroin in Samba District today.
Officials here said that acting on specific intelligence, a coordinated high-risk narcotics operation was carried out by the officers from NCB, J&K Police and BSF in an area known for notorious activities in Bari Brahmana, District Samba.
During the operation, they said that 603 grams of suspected heroin were seized along with one motorcycle used in furtherance of the illicit activity.
One accused has been apprehended on the spot.
