Srinagar, July 17 -- Jammu and Kashmir BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma on Friday accused the National Conference (NC)-led government of prioritising "political theatrics" over governance, alleging that it had failed to address key public concerns, including development, employment and civic services.

Sharma made the remarks while chairing a series of meetings of BJP state office bearers, district presidents and Morcha office bearers at the party's Srinagar office to review the organisation's preparedness and finalise the roadmap for upcoming political and public outreach programmes.

Leader of the Opposition in the J&K Assembly, Sunil Sharma, also attended the meetings.
