Panchkula, July 13 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched the Bharatiya Janata Party's 'Swachhta Se Swagat Abhiyan' this morning from Sector-20 Market in Panchkula, urging people to actively participate in cleanliness and environmental conservation ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Haryana on July 17.
Marking the beginning of the five-day campaign, the Chief Minister personally wielded a broom, collected garbage and participated in a cleanliness drive, giving the campaign a symbolic start. He also planted saplings under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative, reiterating the government's commitment to environmental protection.
