Bhubaneswar, May 31 -- Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Leader of the Opposition Naveen Patnaik on Saturday reaffirmed that the regional party would continue its fight to protect Odisha's interests in the Mahanadi water-sharing dispute and would not allow the State's rights to be undermined.
Patnaik made the assertion during a meeting with noted environmentalist and water conservationist Dr. Rajendra Singh, popularly known as the "Waterman of India", at Naveen Niwas here.
Both Patnaik and Singh held detailed discussions on the Mahanadi river dispute and issues relating to water management and conservation.
