Ashok RainaDharamshala, Aug. 3 -- The National Statistical Office (NSO), Field Operations Division, Sub-Regional Office, Dharamshala, will conduct a series of national statistical surveys on various socio-economic parameters across Kangra and Chamba districts during August 2026.
Assistant Director and Head of Office Simran said on Monday that the data collected through these surveys would play a crucial role in policy formulation, evaluation of development programmes and assessment of the impact of various welfare schemes.
She said trained statistical officers and field investigators would visit selected sample households and establishments in both rural and urban areas to collect information.
