New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 27 -- A national seminar on the demands of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) held at the Ambedkar Auditorium in AP Bhavan, New Delhi, on Monday called for the immediate introduction of the BC Bill in Parliament to provide 50 per cent reservation for BCs in legislative bodies and ensure proportional representation.

The seminar, attended by MPs from various parties, national BC leaders, intellectuals and representatives from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra, was presided over by Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare Association President Nageswara Rao and Nookalamma.
