Bilaspur, March 6 -- A National Lok Adalat would be organised in Bilaspur district on March 14, 2026, to facilitate the speedy disposal of various cases through mutual settlement. The Lok Adalat would be held at the District and Sessions Court complex in Bilaspur as well as at the court complexes in Ghumarwin and Jhandutta.
Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Bilaspur, Prateek Gupta, informed that both pre-litigation matters and cases pending in courts would be taken up during the Lok Adalat for amicable settlement. The initiative aims to provide a simple, quick and cost-effective mechanism for resolving disputes.
