Nashik, July 28 -- Sarvesh Kushare, who hails from Devargaon in Nashik district of Maharashtra, made history by winning the silver medal in the men's high jump event at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
Sarvesh Kushare cleared a height of 2.25 meters, becoming the first Indian high jumper to win a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games.
Both the gold and silver medalists cleared the 2.25-meter mark; Bradford, who won the gold, achieved the height on his very first attempt, while Sarvesh secured the silver.
