Nashik, Oct. 28 -- Preparations for the upcoming Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh flag-hoisting ceremony in Maharashtra are in full swing. However, a controversy has emerged over the credit for constructing and installing the flagstaffs at Nashik and Trimbakeshwar, with allegations that the Public Works Department (PWD), which carried out the work, is being overlooked.
Despite working tirelessly to complete the flagstaffs and install the decorative flags featuring various symbols within the stipulated time, the PWD appears to be missing out on due recognition.
Meanwhile, the Nashik Municipal Corporation and the Trimbakeshwar Municipal Council are allegedly projecting their own contributions and taking credit for the work.
