Nashik, Oct. 26 -- Nashik created a Guinness World Record on Sunday evening by having 501 conch shells blown simultaneously on the banks of the Godavari River, marking a significant milestone ahead of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027.
The record was achieved near Deomaledar Ground on the occasion of Kojagiri Purnima, in the presence of a representative of Guinness World Records. The collective blowing of 501 conch shells surpassed the previous record of 303 people blowing conch shells simultaneously in the United States.
