Nashik, Oct. 6 -- The Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Revenue Lok Adalat received an enthusiastic response from litigants in Nashik, with several pending revenue cases being settled through mutual consent between the parties.
The Lok Adalat was held at the Additional Collector's Office in Nashik on Sunday in the presence of Additional Collector Hemangi Patil as part of the campaign being implemented across Maharashtra under a government resolution of the Revenue and Forest Department.
The Lok Adalat was organised to address pending quasi-judicial revenue cases related to Nashik Rural, Nashik City, Igatpuri and Trimbakeshwar talukas under the jurisdiction of the Additional Collector.
