Nashik, Aug. 9 -- An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale was felt today in parts of several talukas within Maharashtra's Nashik district, according to preliminary information from the Disaster Management Department.
Reports indicate that strong tremors were felt around 10:01 PM in areas such as Dindori, Chandwad, Vani, Abhona, Vadnerbhairav, Niphad, Peth, Chandori, and Gangapur, as well as in the Karjkhed, Pahuchibari, and Virmal localities.
