Hyderabad, Oct. 4 -- A "Nasha Mukt Yuva" Walkathon was organised by MY Bharat, Telangana, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), to create awareness among youth about the harmful effects of substance abuse.
The walkathon began at the historic Charminar and concluded at Government City College on Sunday. It was flagged off by Rajya Sabha MP K. Laxman.
MY Bharat State Director Anvesh Chinthala urged youngsters to stay away from drugs, adopt healthy lifestyles and contribute to building a drug-free society.
NCB Hyderabad Assistant Director Vishal V. R. stressed the importance of youth awareness and collective action against substance abuse.
