Prithviraj SinghDehradun, May 22 -- A day after Congress heavyweight Harish Rawat supported namaz on the roads, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami rebuked him stating that namaz must be offered only at the places meant for it.

Controversy as to offering namaz on the roads has now reached Uttarakhand.

Pushkar Singh Dhami said his government will not allow it in the state. He was responding to Harish Rawat's statement that offering namaz was the right of citizens and they come on the roads under uncommon circumstances.

"Namaz must be offered at places designated for it. There is a system to offer Namaz and no one has the right to destroy it. Everything has to follow what Indian system, law and administration says," the CM said....
